The Delhi based one of the India’s most promising young fashion designer, Charu Parashar after receiving her formal education in fashion designing from SNDT (New Delhi) has launched her label 'Charu Parashar' with a solo fashion show at Le Meridian.

The designer in her early age used to accompany her mother for block printing, even travel to Banaras for picking sarees and fabrics. She started her studio in the year 1993, soon after her college with two block printed tables.

In November 2001, she opened her 1st flag ship store at DLF Galleria with a Fashion show at IGCC, the German ambassador appreciated her designs and in 2004, she took an exhibition called 'Utpala' to Manhattan, New York.

The designer is specialised in presenting haute couture & pręt line’s using Indian textile and printing techniques along with old embellishment techniques and is strong revivalist of keeping the old art n technique of block printing alive.

The signature style redefines style with vibrant colors traditional designs with an International appeal as she always works towards spreading awareness about this extinct technique.

She retails her label 'Charu Parashar' from Anantam, Aura, CTC Mall, Atelier, lemon tree, Gyans and also creates empowering designs for the modern woman of today.
