Kavita Bhartia
The designer has made her mark in different spheres of the fashion industry as her brand 'Kavita Bhartia' has been the perfect showcase of the riches and traditions of Indian Couture. The collection blends Indian tradition with international trends to create a 'look' that is global and the presence of the traditional materials and techniques with innovative treatment brings the element of surprise in every ensemble of 'Kavita Bhartia'. Her label has ventured into newer terrains with exports in countries like Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Spain, Greece, France and US. Kavita opened Ogaan in 1989, a fashion landmark in New Delhi which showcases her works and of some of the leading names in the Indian fashion industry and had gained appreciation from discerning clientele all around the world. She was also instrumental in launching and publishing the Indian edition of the world's largest selling fashion magazine 'Elle'.
