Kiran Uttam Ghosh

The designer, graduated from Sophia Polytechnic (Mumbai) in fashion designing and then trained in London to focus on detail and style with well- known British designer Jasper Conran.

After the successful stint with the British designer, she launched her own label 'Kimono' that offered the discerning woman a complete range of pręt, couture and accessories.

The collection combines and understates classic elegance with contemporary flair, shaped silhouettes and drapes with 'in your face' colors as the range of women's wear include kurtas, lehengas, shararas, sarees, sarongs and kurtis in her signature 'techno' colors with a strong, slim silhouette.

With the successful launch of the collection, the fashion business house KIMONO has grown steadily in a short span of 6 years and has emerged as the top selling label across leading fashion stores.

Kimono's collections over the year have reveled in uniqueness and creativity from the Vintage Collection in Denim to the Bohemian Collection showcased at the LIFW From the business fashion house view point our forte is a steady, wearable, commercial line with a wide range of designs to choose from.
