Arora started venturing in 1997 when he launched his brand "
Manish Arora" in India. In 2000, he joined the very first India Fashion Week and represented his country during Hong Kong Fashion Week. One year later, he launched the "Fish Fry" label, a vibrant sportswear line associated with Reebok.
In 2002, Arora launched his first store in New Delhi known as "
Manish Arora Fish Fry". It was a success that leads to the opening of the second fashion house in Mumbai. On the following year, he participated again during the India Fashion Week resulting to a breakthrough deal with Maria Luisa, a renowned fashion house in Paris. The said deal later turned out to be a successful fashion export business.
With his success on the recent years, it was no surprise that Arora opened another store at Lodhi Colony Market in New Delhi in 2005 and a franchise store in Villa Moda, Kuwait in 2006.

Manish Arora received a lot of recognitions that not all fashion designers can achieve. He was recognized during the first 'Indian Fashion Awards' as "Best Women Pręt Designer." It was also the same year when MC2 Diffusion in Paris represented his creations for export business.
In 2005, Arora received the "Best Collection Award" when he joined the Miami Fashion Week. On September that year, he successfully launched his creations at the London Fashion Week where both the press and potential consumers showed a positive response.

Fish Fry for Rebook" marked the year 2007 as one of best times of his career as a fashion designer. It was also the same year when he collaborated with MAC, a cosmetics giant, to design a signature and remarkable collection. However, the year did not end there yet because he also teamed up with Swatch in designing watches.
On the following year, Reebok launched again an exclusive lifestyles created by Arora which is tagged as "
RBK Fish Fry Collection 2008."
In 2009, Arora sold his creations to over 80 sellers worldwide and to four stores he owned in India. More so, he powerfully expands his brand in the international market when he incorporated with
Biba Apparel Private Limited.
Moreover, to expand his label, he launched his jewelry line with Amparali. It involves a variety of fashionable and trendy jewelry, pendants and neckpieces.

Manish Arora is a graduate from the faculty of fashion Design in 1994 from NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology), India's premier fashion design institute. He has bagged the 'Most Creative Student' of the year award for his final project and was also the first runner up at the Smirnoff Fashion Awards held in Bombay in 1994.
Manish Arora, after emerging from the portals of NIFT also participated in the much respected 'Young Asians Designers Competition' in 1995, held in Jakarta that year.
At the show Manish presented 'KAL YUG', yet another highly stylised and humorous presentation that has won him the 2nd Runners up award and also the Most Original Collection award.
Manish, reflecting the designer's unmistakable style in a new way has had various shows in different parts of country. He was also the official designer for the Vimal suiting and shirting campaign for the year 1998-99, and represented India at the Hong Kong fashion Week, held in Hong Kong in January 2000.
He was also a part of exhibition on Kitsch held at India Habitat Center, that saw the work of various well-known artists of India such as Atul Dodhia, Anjolie Ela Menon, ram Rehman and many others.
The designer, keeping in view the upcoming market of ready to wear, has launched a new line of women's wear in February 2001 under the label 'FISH FRY'.
