Neeru Kumar, a graduate of the National Institute of Design (Ahmedabad) is unquestionably known as one of the best and the most creative designers in India for hand woven textiles.

Neeru has done dedicated work in the field of textiles, in developing, exploring, experimenting and innovating from the vast wealth available in India in terms of diverse skills, materials and references that led her to evolve her own unique brand of textiles and textile products.

Her unusual palette of colours draws from the traditional but translates into the contemporary so that the yellow of mustard fields, the colours of the earth, charcoal black, a raging sunset mingle with ease among delicate pinks, cool mint and avocado green.

The creations possess an extra ordinary quality as Neeru Kumar's seamless joining together of two opposing sensibilities is what attracted buyers when she first entered the market.

She labels not just in India but has presence in discriminating market segments of Japan, the US and Europe. In the International market her products are displayed at Maison & Objet fair in Paris, which is the leading trend setting exhibition in the world.

Besides, her products are sold under her own label 'Neeru Kumar' in leading stores worldwide such as Le Bon Marche in France, Liberty & Selfridges in U.K., Bloomingdale in USA in addition to working with designer labels such as Maki Textile Studio in Japan, Jack Larsen in USA, etc. She has been featured in magazines like Vogue, Architectural Digest, Home Textile.

Neeru Kumar has establishes three of her own boutiques in New Delhi.
