The entrepreneurial mission 'Amrapali', set out by two young postgraduates of Ancient Indian History, Rajiv Arora and Rajesh Ajmera, has emerged as one of India's best-loved and most respected names in the field of fine designer handcrafted jewellery.

Amrapali, started in the 1970s, is now worn by the likes of J Lo, Naomi Campbell, Shabana Azmi, Rekha, Padma Lakshmi, and Kirron Kher and also has the privilege of being associated with the big banners under Bollywood & Hollywood as well as with departmental stores of international fame.

Rajiv Arora and Rajesh Ajmera have built an entire empire that covers UK, Russia, Kuwait, Holland and beyond. Amrapali has been the official jewellery designers for 'Femina Miss India' since 1996 and has a marked presence in Jaipur, Delhi and Mumbai through its own showrooms.

Today, Amrapali is India's leading manufacturer, exporter and supplier of premium quality hand crafted jewellery and artifacts made of sterling silver or gold studded with semi-precious and precious stones.

Amrapali is famous for its tribal silver jewelry and also for some rare examples of kundan jewelry, a technique in which each gem is set by pressing fine strips of highly purified gold around it.
