Rehane Yavar Dhala
She joined the European Institute of Design in Rome and then worked with seamstress Madame Inetti who taught her all about pattern-cutting and finishing. Currently, the strongest designer label of her kind, 'Rehane' has not only being retailed from her flagship store in Chennai, but in selected outlets around India like Evoluzione in Bangalore, Strip in Hyderabad, Kimaya in Mumbai. The youth brand 'R.Y.D' launched in 2004 in Chennai has been very well received and has added to the business a whole new profile. The specialty of Rehane lies in her originality in all types of surface ornamentation & fabric transformations. She has also supplied her brand to super stores like Westside & Lifestyle for few seasons. The core of Rehane's production is a unit of 25 people that does the main sampling, for bulk quantities.
