Sanchita Ajjampur
The designer has a degree in fashion from the Chambre Syndicate de la Haute Couture Parisienne (Paris) and has also done research on the ancient arts and crafts of India and on master Indian craftsmen. Sanchita's label is known to design eclectic collections for the modern woman who wants to infuse clothes she wears with her own personality as it is a crosscurrent of myriad textures and layers of India amalgamated with the European art and sartorial design. The label, based on the relationship between fashion and art is aimed at producing designs that are not only versatile and unique but also are a timeless fusion of Urban and the innovative, of fashion and luxury, of east and west and style and sensuality. The designer gained experience with lssey Miyake and further went on to work with world-famous designers the caliber of Remeo Gigli, Moschino,Aspesi, Blumarine and as decorative design consultant to McQueen, Etro,Cavalli, La Perla, Armani, Dieseal, Gucci,and Marni amongst others. She has lectured at the IED and DA in Milan, NID (Ahmedabad) and has also produced industrial design projects for Alessi,Swatch and Slamp. News for Sanchita Ajjampur:
