Sandeep Mahajan

A fashion design graduate from National Institute of Fashion Technology (Hyderabad), Sandeep Mahajan has studied in-detail the art of carpet weaving in Elluru (Andhra Pradesh) and appreciated the finer points in weaving that he further incorporated in his fashion designs.

The designer also took training with a high fashion garments exporter who exports to USA & Europe under his own label, Walter Johnson (New Delhi).

Sandeep while working as an Assistant Designer to Wendell Roderick at Goa learned to design under limited resources which has helped in making designs with more cut and texture oriented rather then embroideries.

The menswear collections designed by him is more of attitude then the basic styling as he uses a lot of textured detailing as design element and natural fabrics such as textured cottons, linens and silks.

He believes that the perfect design is something that encompasses all the elements desired such as creative idea, good execution, a thought foretold and wearability for the racks.

The designer with a belief of only designing for the classes but also the masses sells his collections at leading designer stores such as SOSAS (Goa); PANTALOON (Mumbai); EBONY (Delhi, Chandigarh, Ludhiana); Amethyst (Chennai); Tatva & Appeal (New Delhi) and Westside (14 stores across India).
