Sangeeta Chopra

The designer and choreographer, Sangeeta Chopra studied fashion design at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York for 2 years.

Sangeeta Chopra, who stepped into the world of fashion at an early age of 16 years has choreographed and directed her first fashion show. Her foray into the field of design began at great pace.

She had designed the Miss Universe wardrobes for various Miss India's including Sushmita Sen, Madhu Sapre & Namrata Shirodkar and has combined both careers successfully. She operates from a studio in South Mumbai by appointment only.

Her collections have seen extensively on the runway all over India & abroad for many years, while her designs were seen in several music videos and advertising campaigns- both press & film.

The designer has encouraged and helped, Namrata Shirodkar during the 1993 Miss India Pageant and it was she who has transformed Mehr Jessia-Rampal from a gawky teenager into a confident ramp model.

Presently her outfits are available from her studio and is looking forward to the interaction with buyers from all over India.
