Shantanu Goenka

An alumni of NIFT Kolkata's inaugural batch with an award for the most creative designer, Shantanu Goenka after realising his dreams of creating beautiful clothes has launched his own label.

The hallmark of his design philosophy lies in not being afraid to experiment and occasionally does some mens wear too on request as his forte is Indian trousseau & bridal wear for women. The designer is arguably new face of Indian Haute Couture.

After relaunching a fresh new look nothing less than a Parisian couture salon, he operates from his own low profile studio in Kolkata and over the past few years he has cultivated a set of clients both nationally as well as internationally who rely on him for his craftsmanship, quality and versatility.

As part of his job, the designer provides personal attention and suggestions about the right colour, methods of drape, carriage, even about the right kind of accessories, jewellery, hair and even make-up tips to compliment his clothes.

Apart from his studio in Kolkata, one can get his creations at Ensemble- Ambawatta & Santushti in Delhi, Ensemble lion gate & Crossroads in Mumbai & Oorja & Elahe in Hyderabad and as a thorough perfectionist he looks into every possible detail of his garments and ensures quality finish and flawless workmanship.
