A Business Administration graduate, qualified as a fashion designer from Sophia Polytechnic (Mumbai), Sonia Jetleey showcased her collection with her first fashion show of FDCI in July 2003.

The designer has been hailed as every Woman's dream come true, since her guiding star is the wish to make each of her clients feel like a million bucks and the spirit is credited by her loyal and appreciative clientele for flattering silhouettes.

She was selected by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Ministry of External Affairs to showcase her creations in a series of four shows at Almaty & Tashkent, aptly titled 'Princess of India' in 2004. It was for the first time that ICCR had officially sent a fashion designer abroad.

The collection was widely appreciated and received rave reviews, in press & electronic media; in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, & in India too.

Sonia Jetleey introduced her Spring/ Summer 06 Collection over an evening of 'Fashion Passion' with Campari and Intercontinental Eros in 2006.

With her eponymous label, she introduced varied styles, and that has won her an enviable client list as she draws her inspiration from the modern woman who works her through the day, be it at home or at office.

The tiered skirts intermixing prints that promise an unusual look, while the prints have been enhanced at random by handcraft techniques as she enjoyed an interplay of silhouettes.

However, the diffusion lines epitomises evening/occasion wear; whereas the couture are stronger and contrasts that have been used to enhance the totality of the ensembles.
